Tarot Readings
An Ancient Art in Modern Times
- Let me describe what you can expect from my Tarot Readings. They are, as you would want, far more than just standard interpretations of the cards that appear. Each card can have many meanings, expressions and nuances, so the particular significance of those that present in each Reading needs to be intuitively interpreted.
- Their messages are influenced by other factors, such as the layout of the cards, or spread, where they fall in the spread, the other cards around them and, most importantly, the person having the Reading and their reasons for having the Reading. Essentially, the cards provide clarity on the energetic patterns at play at the time of the Reading, (and likely for some time prior), the direction of travel and the prevailing winds of influence, the knowing of which enables you to adjust your sails accordingly.
- Recognising and accepting your role in both the source and the cause and effect of these influences, energies and thus the outcomes you are experiencing, is key to creating the conditions in which desired changes can manifest. The Tarot is a great tool to reflect back a 'live picture' of the influences present on your path, what's working for your greatest good and can also indicate any potential obstacles or distractions to be aware of.
- The Tarot does not 'predict' your future, as everything is subject to the complex laws of Karma, and while some potential Karmic consequences can be 'changed', or altered, some cannot. My teacher, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar gives the example, "The Karma of your body is to be the height and weight it is. Yet while the Karma of your body's weight you can change throughout your life, once you stop growing, the Karma of your height you cannot change."
- So 'predictions' cannot be made with certainty, because some of the Karma you are experiencing now is from past events, and you are creating new Karma with your thoughts and actions now that will play out in the future. However a good Reader can intuitively 'extrapolate' your current trends and patterns of thought and behaviour to indicate where they are heading. We live in a paradigm of choice, and seeing the possibilities and potential outcomes you are attracting will enhance your awareness and point towards beneficial changes. It is, of course, always up to us to choose whether to act upon them or not, and either way, our actions or non-actions now are creating our future Karma. The Tarot does not care about the choices we make, it simply reveals what's so.
- During your Reading, there will also be an element of guidance, if requested - far more should you opt for the Tarot-Led Coaching sessions. These will intuitively shed light on the actions and behaviours that will enhance your mental, emotional, physical and spiritual harmony and wellbeing.
